It was back in 1910, at a time of need, that Ines Rosales retrieved the Olive Oil Torta recipe from the family cookbook and started commercializing it at the Seville train station. Locals and travelers fell in love with the delicate and unique pastry,the word spread, and soon she had to hire help to cope with the demand. A story of female entrepreneurship well before people thought it was aconcept worth talking about. Today, our Tortas are still made following Ines Rosales. original recipe and our products are still made following artisanal methods.
